For Sale: This vehicle has a solid frame, road worthy and is restore ready. It could be used presently as a daily driver. I've owned the vehicle for the last eleven years. I purchased it from a friend who owned it for the previous twelve years. I've completed many of the age related repairs. I've rebuilt the top end of the motor @ 97,000 miles. That consisted of installing a rebuilt set of 1980 Corvette heads ( 3 angle grind, new valve guides and decked flat ). All top end gaskets were replaced including the valve cover gaskets. I installed a new cam, push rods, lifters, new dual row timing chain and new timing gears. timing chain gasket is new. New harmonic balancer was installed. I removed the oil pan and installed a new rear main seal on the crank. I've installed rebuilt Stainless Steel Sleeved Braks calipers w/new brake pads (all four wheels). A new radiator support has been installed as well as having the radiator re-cored. All radiator seals, radiator shroud seals, hoses are new. All six u-joints have been replaced. The power steering pump has been rebuilt. All four power steering hoses have been replaced. New idler arm. New brake master cylinder, both front steel brake lines are new from the proportioning valve to the flexible lines to the front wheels. The rear flexible brake lines have also been replaced. The original ignition shields go with the vehicle. As well as the original steel wheel w/ beauty rings and rally caps. As well as a full size car cover. This vehicle was going to be my restore project when I purchased it. Two years ago I purchased a 1998 Corvette Convertable and have not spent any time working on this 1976. I have too many vehicles and need to sell the 1976. Asking $5,900.00 |
